Every hero has a beginning, and this is Whitney’s
A short film elevated by spectacular practical effects, “Super Human Anxiety” follows Whitney, a teenage girl whose strong emotions ignite into superhuman strength. When her elevator breaks down, she must decide if she can trust her teacher to help calm her anxiety — or, say nothing and stay stuck.
We’re excited to have “Super Human Anxiety” screen Saturday AND Sunday at San Diego Comic-Con! We’ll also be launching an impact campaign with our Impact Partner, Give an Hour.
WHO: Director Ashley Maria, Actor Alexis Jacquelyn Smith (“Whitney”), Producer Melissa Balint, Producer Lea-Ann W. Berst will be attending.
JOINING FORCES WITH GIVE AN HOUR: Together we’re amplify the importance of providing support to those silently struggling with anxiety. A representative from Give an Hour, Ryan Young, will accompany our team for impact activation activities, including handing out collectable limited edition movie superhero cards!
Join us at booth MZ-13 in the Exhibit Hall AND at any “Super Human Anxiety” movie screening to collect your card (there is a different one every day!).

“Super Human Anxiety” was invited to screen again at: San Diego International Children’s Film Festival at Comic-Con on Sunday July 27, 2025 @ 1:45pm in Room 9.
