Here is a picture of that darn rooster that wakes us up every night. When I first moved to the street, we could never sleep. My roommate and I would lie awake to the crowing of Mr. Rooster. Now, I sleep right through it! Now, that rooster is the least of the sounds on that street…

Although this dog is snoozing in the sun, this is not his normal daily routine. Or should I say nightly? Lately the dogs have been roaming our street, meddling with the pets who live on the street and rummaging through garbage. It’s kind of scary when you hear growling outside of your window. When the sirens of the firetrucks, police, or ambulance go by our street, which often do, the animals go wild. They bark, crow, meow, hiss…whatever! It’s really fun listening to the uproar of street noises, let me tell ya!

We have brought this and many other concerns to the attention of our Land Lords. They are considering putting a more definite lock on our gate, so no human or animal will be able to get to us! Cross your fingers that they will fix the gate and save my sleep!!
